Is there an age limit on entries? You must be aged 15 years or over on race day.
Can I take part in a wheelchair? Yes, elite wheelchair athletes will start at the front of the field, just before the start of the main race. Please drop us an email if you are an elite wheelchair athlete as we may be able to offer you a free place firstname.lastname@example.org
Non-elite wheelchair entrants are welcome and will start the race at the rear of the field. We advise that all wheelchair participants wear a helmet during the race.

What is the cut off time? 1hr 45 mins – runners behind this time will be asked to move to the pavements to continue the race due to the strict road reopening schedule.

Do we receive a free finisher’s t-shirt? Yes, all runners will receive a Brooks technical T-shirt after completing the race
Where can I leave my bag while I run? You have been allocated either a blue or red race number, depending on your predicted finish time. Your race number also corresponds with your allocated timing pen, arrival station and bag drop area.
BLUE NUMBERS: Use Embankment Underground Station or Charing Cross Mainline Station.
RED NUMBERS: Use Piccadilly Circus Underground Station.

How do I know if I'm a red or a blue runner? The coloured band on your race number will indicate whether you are a red or blue runner. This information will also be confirmed on email in the couple of weeks before the race.
WIll there be timing pens on the race day? You have been allocated either a blue or red race number, depending on your predicted finish time. Your race number also corresponds with your allocated timing pen, arrival station and bag drop area. There will be a number of timing pens, marked with expected finish times to be amongst runners of a similar pace.
I don't plan to use the bag drop, do I still have to go to the Red or Blue Baggage Area before the race?
Yes, as there are toilet facilities at these Baggage Areas and there is a clear walk to the start to ensure you can access the correct timing pen that you have been allocated.
Do I need to register or sign in on the day?
No, if you have your race number attached to your t-shirt, you do not need to register on the day.
How do you record my time? We will provide you with a race number which contains your timing chip, this will be sent prior to race day with your race pack.
What do we receive at the end of the race? You will be awarded with a medal, goody bag and finisher’s t-shirt.
Are there toilets on the course? Yes, there will be toilets at each of the three water stations.
Are there water stations on the course? Yes, there are three water stations at approximately 3.3, 5.3 and 8 km. Water will be provided in 250ml bottles.
Are there kilometre markers on the course? Yes, all kilometres will be clearly marked along the course.
Are there showers and changing facilities? There will be limited changing facilities in the red and blue baggage areas but no showers.
Can I get a massage after the race? Yes, YourPhysioPlan will be providing free massage at the baggage areas.
Can I run and raise money for my chosen charity? Yes, please contact them directly for a sponsorship pack.
Can I carry a collection bucket? Unfortunately no, we cannot permit runners or spectators to carry collection buckets.
Can I run in fancy dress? Yes, as long as this complies with health and safety.
Can I run with music? We understand that some runners like to train with headphones, but we encourage you not to ue them on the day to ensure any medical alerts or marshals' instructions can be heard.
Refund & transfer your place
Can I transfer my place to someone else? No, you must not under any circumstances give your race number to anyone else. Amongst other potential problems, doing so may cause problems of identification for the event medical services in the case of any accident or injury.
Can I get a refund? We operate a 7-day cooling off period. You can cancel your place provided we receive written notice (letter or email) of cancellation within 7 days of payment of the entry fee. Cancellation during this 7 day period will result in a full refund.
After this period we operate the following policy:
121 days + before the Event: you will be offered a partial refund or credit to be used against entry into the same event in 2017.
61 – 120 days before the Event: no refund will be offered, however a partial credit to be used against entry into the same event in 2017.
31 – 60 days before the Event: no refund or credit will be offered, only a guaranteed place into the same event in 2017.

When will I receive my race pack? Packs will be sent in the two weeks before the event and will contain your race number with timing chip and safety pins. Your race number is individual to you and cannot be passed to anyone else.
Your race brochure with all event information will be emailed to you before the race.
What should I do if I haven’t received my race pack and number a week before the event? Please check your confirmation email and then email us on firstname.lastname@example.org. We can issue you a new race number on race day upon proof of identity and your registration.
